15 Women. One Roundtable: Youth Empowerment Industry Leaders discuss pathways to girls empowerment

Did you know that women account for around two-thirds of the world's working hours and earn only 10% of the world's income? And why is that 64% of the 4th grade girls said they liked science and math when only 18% of all college engineering majors were females?

Women's empowerment means marginalizing power in women and girls so that they can play a significant role in society! Women and girls are the most potentially capable untapped resource on the face of the earth. And this is why we need women's empowerment.

ZOOM CON visionary, Dr. Shekina Farr Moore, understands that women's empowerment starts with empowering girls.

To this end, fifteen amazing women from around the country who work in and/or in partnership with the girls empowerment industry are convening in Atlanta March 24-25 for ZOOM CON to discuss barriers to girls empowerment. Register for ZOOM CON at www.B2Fgirls.org.

Fourteen of the 15 women are shown above (l-r): Dr. Shekina Farr Moore; Dr. Gretchen Torbert; Sherilyn Bennett; Letonia Page; Shinica Thomas; Pilar McCloud; Aisha Martin; Tiffanny A. Goodman; Kenjdra Glapion-Langston; Darlene Thorne; Tonia Scott; Dr. Juanita Woodson; Adriane Farley; Dr. Sharnell Myles; (Not pictured) Jackie Cox.
